I have some files with the .prp extension which comes from an export
from another CAD program oes anybody knows what is the use of this
files? hat is the information contained?
Another thing: When I open the dgn files (remember it comes from an
export in other, unknowed program) the icon of the view for change the
point of view (you know, that of the box) does not rotate, only can
change zoom over the view... ny advice?
Thanks folks...

prp files are frozen views from FrameWorks. They are not really meant for
editing in normal microstation.

Are these full models or plan and elevation views??

You'll find it a bit of a pain to try and edit the model in anything other
than FrameWorks.

Drop me an e-mail if I can help.

2. $PRP:"Revision" 2008 ?

My drawing templates have the value $PRP:"Revision" for the revision
letter in the format.
Before upgrading to SWX 2008, when I updated the revision table, the
revision letter in the format would automatically update also.
This doesn't seem to be happening with SWX 2008.

 Did something change?

Thanks

4. List of $PRP commands in SW notes?

Hello,

I've recently been searching this group and found a lot of helpful info
to save time in my title blocks such as the $PRP:"SW-Current Sheet" and
the $PRP:"Revision" so thanks for all the info. However one thing I
can't find is a compiled list of all of these PRP commands that can be
typed in the note fields. A search has yielded no results. If one
such exists could you kindly point me to it?

Thanks.

7. Conversion of VISIO (vsd) files into DWG files

8. eps files to DWG files??

AutoCAD R14 had the feature allowing you to convert *.eps files to DWG, that
was great when manufacturers had only pdf files for their details, you could
convert them to eps files with Acrobat, then into DWG with R14.

Now I can't even install my old R14 edition in Vista, so...any other way to
do this?
