Flight Simulation Games >> fs9 on 15.4'' monitor

by Heiko Thomas » Wed, 10 Aug 2005 03:43:17 GMT

I hope someone knows a workaround for this one:

I have a new notebook with a 15.4'' monitor and Intel Pentium 1.73 + ATI
X700 (128MB) + 1024GB Ram and it runs FS9 + Level-D 767 + Active Weather
2004 + My Traffic very nicely!

But: in resolution 1280x800 or 1280x768 the display is "sqeezed" (I have
very flat and long/wide aircraft and cockpits, not as real as it gets). In
resolution 1024x768 the display hs the correct proportions (and two black
margins to the left an to the right, which don't bother me)

Any ideas are welcome!

Cheers and thanks,

Heiko

Simple, when brain dead people are too lazy to figure out that High
Density Db-15 (HDD-15) is for video.

I have a DB-15 RS-232C serial port. Looking for DB-15 will get you
HDD-15, but little if any DB-15.

   My Panasonic DB-15 equipped LD-V4400 uses a DB-15 RS-232C serial port
for MCI control from the computer.

I have a new HP Laserjet 1505, a nice black and white, very fast.

Trouble is, I can't get the fonts straight configuring it as a
ClientAccess printer. It wants to turn all the print into a tiny 6 or
8 point type in landscape mode or portrait.

I have tried changing the AS/400 device description to specify Host
Transform *YES but nothing changes.

Any ideas how I can at least get a nice 10 point Courier out of this
printer?

Thanks
