1. cmdnut.exe, kbmain.exe, pcexp.exe problems at shutdown - Performance and maintenance
2. winlogG.exe, winlogO.exe, winlogY.exe, winlogB, winlog.exe
The above mentioned programs are requesting access to the internet. I get notified through my zone alarm. i have not allowed them to access since i do not recognise any of them. can anyone please let me know what these programs are, or are if they a threat. i've run a current virus scan and ad aware and nothing was found. but as i said i do not recognise these programs nor have i installed anything new. thanks.
3. aaCenter.exe and AsLoader.exe problems - Windows Vista
4. LSASS.exe and WINLOGON.exe reoccuring problem
5. explorer.exe and rundll32.exe problems - Windows 2000
6. Nero problems: NMIndexStoreSrv.exe and NMBgMonitor.exe cause heavy CPU-Load
From time to time I observed that the two programs NMIndexStoreSrv.exe and NMBgMonitor.exe (which seem to be installed by Nero burning program) are started (by which event ?). Once started they consume a lot (up to 97%) of the CPU power. Why ? This (mis-)behavior occurs primarily under Win2000+SP4 but occasionally under WinXP as well. How do I prevent the starting of these two crap programs (without completely uninstalling Nero)? Sebastian
