How do you sort the rows in a cross-tab report by the values in the
summarized fields in one of the columns. For example, if I have cities
as row headers, by default, their sorted alphabetically. If I have
population by month in the columns, how do I sort the entire cross-tab
by december's population?

3. Crystal reports 10 cross tab export

Hi,

after creating a cross tab reprot using crystal reports designer 10, I
have a problem exporting the data to excel.
I set the ident to 0cm in the cross tab options so that all labels are
located in one column. After exporting to excel (data-only) the labels
are spread over several columns depending on the amount of groups I
have. Exporting to excel with the formating creates several
unnecessary columns in excel, so that is not an option. Is there a way
of keeping the labels of the crosstab in one excel column although
there are more than one column in the cross tab? I try to create a
little example to make the problem more understandable.

A 1
B 2
C 3
Sum Group A 6
Total Sum 6

In Excel there will be three columns for the Group sum, the total sum
and the single elemets. But I would like to have it all in one column
as shown in the example.

Hope someone can help

Greetings
Michael

5. Cross-tab report in Crystal 8.5

I have a main report with a subreport. The subreport is a cross tab report.
Whenever the data for the subreport spans more than one pages, always one
blank page is printed. In other words the cross tab is printing the first page
as a blank page and then it prints out the data in multiple pages.

How do I suppress the blank page in the crosstab subreport?

Please do let me know.
