bugs >> Autocad appllication not closing

by bb » Thu, 19 Jan 2006 14:49:31 GMT

I am doing a project in which the main interface is designed in VB6 and
parameters for different solids are passed to Autocad in order to draw
it and the drawing is saved in the application path. The same drawing
is viewed as source doc of an ole object.

The problem is:-
For the first time when a picture is requested through VB interface
then after the drawing is shown is displayed In OLE object the autocad
window closes down it self. But requesting another drawing
simultaneously results that the window remains open displaying the
picture the ole object is using as Source doc and on repeated runs the
system hangs. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASE HELP ME?

You may want to check out the AutoCAD code at:
http://www.veign.com/vrc_app_cat.asp?catid=7

See if that provides a means the resolves your issue.

How are you closing the application? Are you properly releasing the AutoCAD
object?

Can't help much because I haven't seen any code....
