SharePoint Portal Server >> "This list cannot be displayed as a Gantt chart because it lacks required fields"

I created a numeric calculated column "% percent"=if(Total=0,0,Done/Total)
then set the Percent Complete field to "% percent", the gantt view
disappeared, and the message "This list cannot be displayed as a Gantt chart
because it lacks required fields" displayed, anybody tell me what's wrong?
Thanks!

1. Can not display list, but I am able to search the list

Hi,

I am using SharePoint service 2003 on Small Business Server 2003. I created
a list call Fragrance Library, it was working fine for many week now. This
morning I was not able to display the list, but I was able to search the list
and gave me the result. Any idea to have list back on display? Thanks.

3. Simple Workplanning and Gantt Chart

Does anyone know of a 'webpart' or WSS List that provides simple
workplanning functionality (without project server nor MS Project). In
other words, I'm looking for a customized list that would allow you to
enter task info (name, resource, duration, start/end dates,
predecessor, successor, etc), calculate start and end dates based on
predecessor/successor info and durations as well as display in a Gantt
Chart view.

Again, I don't want to use MS Project.

7. Customization of Gantt Chart/Project Tasks

One of my departments would like to have the gantt view auto-calculate the
due date based off the number of days the task takes to complete. I have
added a number of days until completion column and set the due date as a
calculation field to add the number of days until complete to the start date.
The calculation works great. Unfortunately the gantt view will no longer
display since sharepoint reads the due date field as a calculation field.
Similarly I can calculate the days until completion with the start date and
the due and the datedif function. However the user still has to fill out the
due date. So in continuing to try and reverse engineer this I added the days
until complete as a number, a new due date column as the calculated value and
then tried to set the original due date field to the calculated value in new
due date as the default date. Still no go. I get the gantt view and the
number of days until completion but the gantt view shows the task is only 1
day in length. Has anyone found a way to set the due date as a calculated
value and get the gantt view to show correctly?
