Microsoft Office Publisher >> Disappearing graphics

I'm running MS Publisher 97 under WinXP Home. Recently I discovered that
inserted graphics (.WMF) had simply disappeared from one of the pages. No
frame, no placekeeper, nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? It keeps
repeating.

See if this solves it, view, picture display, detailed display. If this isn't the
answer maybe you are due for an updated video driver.

Also, were these pictures linked or embedded?

My graphics were already set for detailed display, so I checked Intel for
a new driver. Mine was only published in April, but there was an August
version available. I installed it, but the phenomenon is still occurring.
BTW, another responder asked if the were linked or embedded. They were
embedded.

I am having a similar problem. But I only have the problem
when I print. Clipart and such simply vanishes and does
not print.

I do not know how to fix it but I found that I can save
the file when the picture is still there. recall the file
using the "file" pull down menu. then print. the graphic
stays AND prints. pain in the butt but it works.

excel, the chart re-appears. Why is this happening?
