2. Retrieve deleted (unsaved) project in Publisher?
I accidentally signed off of Microsoft Publisher without saving my work. Of course, it ask the question "Do you want to save the changes?". I clicked on "No", not thinking about that I hadn't saved it at all. Is there a way to retrieve my project? Thanks, if anyone can help.

8. Retrieving old Publisher file
In 1996, I created a manual for work using what ever was the current version of MS Publisher at the time. I was probably using Windows 95. The manual was broken up into sections (chapters), each section being an individual file. Now I need to retrieve these sections. Publisher 2003 will open some, but not all, of the files. When it doesn't open a file, I get a message that 2003 does not support files from that version of Publisher. Sadly, the software package was lost in a building fire. The best solution at my end, would be for someone who has a legitimate copy of Publisher that old they would be willing to part with it and I'd pay the postage. A less preferable option at my end is to find some kind of conversion utility that would read the .PUB file and convert it to MS Word of some vintage. I have enough copies of Word to be able to work with the resulting document and get it into Word 2003. If someone has any other ideas that will work as well or better, please let me know. Thanks. Ken
