Microsoft Office Publisher >> Error when sending mail from Pub2003

by NZBug » Tue, 07 Oct 2003 11:13:24 GMT

I have just installed Office 2003 Professional.
I am trying to send a Publication as email (not attachment)
and get the following error: "No such interface supported"

This is on Windows2000 SP3 with .NET Framework 1.1
installed

Anyone know what is wrong?

Thanks

After managing to set up OE-QuoteFix on his new PC, Ed reads a message

What is your default email client? (i.e. when you click an email link in
Internet Explorer or another browser, what program opens?)

Have you tried updating to Windows 2000 SP4?
Have you tried a Detect and Repair in Outlook 2003?
Have you tried a Detect and Repair in Publisher 2003?
Is this the pre-release or the released version of Publisher 2003?

2. Pub2003 file into Pub20007 gets error warning

I have Publisher 2003 file that when I open it in Pub2007 says "there's a
problem, if it's from a trusted source...." & so on. I know there's no
problem with the file, it was just created in Pub2003 on a different
computer! Saving it under a different name in Pub2007 & opening that gets
the same error message.

How can I get rid of this "problem" warning?

BTW I *do not like* the new "improved" *non-customizable* ribbon/toolbar on
the other Office 2007 apps. Too many things I don't want on there, takes up
too much room, no way to add a button for something I do a lot of. At least
as far as I can tell.

I'm glad to be able keep Publisher's the way I've arranged it -- unimproved!

6. Error when sending pub 2003 document as an email

we have a document that we have been sending as an email in publisher 2003
for some time, by using the SEND AS EMAIL> SEND THIS PAGE AS A MESSAGE. This
has worked fine for some time, but now something has happened to the document
that when you click the send button in outlook you get a message that
publisher has encountered an error and needs to close. Outlook then freezes
and has to be cntrl-alt-del to kill it off. this happens with the same
document on multiple computers, whereas the same computers can complete the
task using a newly created document. Anyone seen this before?
