I read David Bartosik's explanation of why MS does not
allow individual page naming:

But my question is WHY????? Why did MS take this off. Who
names their web pages all the same with "_0001" and so on?

Is there any workaround to this? Other than loading back
Publisher 2000?

I don't know. But I addressed it with them in meetings and got it back for
2003*.


No, in 2002 there is nothing to be done. If you require that functionality
use 2000 or 2003* when it releases October 21.


* 2003 supports it but not under 1 circumstance. I will document that on my
site after release.

FYI please address web topics in the web forum for the benefit to forum
users.
