Two downers for connected PPC news freaks.

NY Times mobile went dead in May.

CNN mobile content page went dead at about noon today... no Avantgo, and
no immediate replacement other than a promise to notify when an email
version is available.

Google's "News" which is still marked "beta" has looked promising... I
took the time to both give feedback and offered free help if they were
interested in making pages render well on pocketpcs... multiple emails,
automated responses and counter responses finally resulted in the
following final statement tonight;

"We are
not interested in
working on a special
version of
Google News for the
PocketPC, but we will
let you know if this
changes in
the future."

ABC http://mobile.go.com/pocketpc/abcnews and MSNBC
http://www.msnbc.com/news/MobileChannel/MMC.htm mobile are the only two
really ppc compatable international/national sources that I have found
that are not subscription and accessable via a normal internet
connection...

If you use or know of others, please post them.

The Google News http://news.google.com/ site is _almost_ usable... takes
work though... lotta scrolling, informative "teasers" then redirects to
the source pages.

7. General issues

I have had HPs for about 2 years now, BT and WiFi for about a year, and my
biggest issue is that it just stops using both of those for no noticable
reason. I dont' change settings, nothing! Just suddenly BT won't work and
WiFi won't. This is very frusterating as, sometimes, it just comes back! I
have managed to get my problems identified geographically - home BT won't
work, WiFi will mostly. Office BT won't work, WiFi always does. Out and
about WiFi is fine.

Any ideas here?
