3. Chatting over WiFi or Bluetooth

Is it possible to chat using two (or more) iPAQ 4155s (or other similar
devices) without an internet connection? That is, are there any programs
that use ad-hoc networking to facilitate AIM-like chatting?
If there are not, what kind of bluetooth solutions exist for chatting?

Thanks for your responses,

7. Activesync Works via Bluetooth, but not via Cradle

Hi,

I've been synching through my cradle to two PCs for a few months. I have an
Axim x51v, and I use AS 4.5. Recently, I got tired of carrying the cradle
from home to work, and started synching at work over bluetooth & over the
cradle at home.

For the last week I haven't been able to synch over the cradle at home or at
work, but synch over bluetooth still works fine.

When I put the PDA on the cradle, the circle spins for a while, and tries to
connect. Eventually AS offers to run the troubleshooter, and it never finds
anything. Disabling the firewall (Norton) doesn't solve the problem, and
neither does making the firewall changes on microsoft's web site...since the
sync works over bluetooth, that seems to make sense.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

E.
