GSM/GPRS modem

Hello. i have a problem. we are into developing Hospital ECG scanning
device,our application saves all ECG generated images when movement occurs
and overwrites when next movement is detected. I have connected GSM
handset/modem with service provider sim connected with my PC.
When ever images overwritten in PC, our app has to fire sms(preconfigured
with number) to mobile via windows terminal.

What i want is to be able to send a SMS to mobile when my image is
overwrited with new in windows PC. I want to know how i can dial GSM set
from windows....Can anyone help me do this. ???????
Technical not cleared to us, so using which programming langauge we can use
for this....any idea please share.

What GSM modem/handset are you using? You can use simple AT commands to send
the SMS.

Hi Vishal,
Thnkz, Exactly GSM handset say 3310 or any pure set. It would be grateful if
you write me technic to achieve this. Any AT commands and steps with you if
any please...

What I'm trying to achieve is an internet connection on my ipaq 2210 using
Bluetooth. My PC has a USB Bluetooth adapter, it also has a cable modem
attached (not a router though).
The ipaq and PC can see eachother no problem, i've got network access &
activesync working. I've tried giving the BT adapter an ip address then
pinging it when connected and it pings, but putting the cable modems address
in as the gateway doesnt work.
My daily job is servers & networking but i just cant get my head around this
one. Anyone done it? Is it possible? I've a feeling i may well need a
router.

actually i develop my applications with Visual Fox Pro and Visual Basic 6.
Now i've to create a pocket pc application to manage a sql server ce
database.
I replicate the example i read in the book "Sql Server Ce Database
Development With The CF"
but it doesn't run.
There's anyone that can send me a complete and simple visual basic .net
project (connection and a simple query) ?
