Pocket PC Networking >> help with httpd over 802.11 on WM5

by dGhlaGVyY21hbg » Wed, 05 Apr 2006 23:21:02 GMT

Hi,

I have installed the httpd service on a T-Mobile MDA (HTC Wizard) running
Windows Mobile 5. I would like to configure the 802.11 card to allow inbound
connections on port 80 from any requestor so that I can host some html on the
MDA web server.

Can anyone assist with the proper configuration? or tell me if this is
possible?

Thanks

PocketPC 2003. PDA2k unit.

I am trying to setup my 802.11 to be able to use a VPN.
I see how to do setup a VPN under Connections/My Work
Network. But under that, 802.11b is not a "Modem"
choice.

How would I go about setting my device up so that I can
use 802.11b to connect to the internet and occasionally
connect to a VPN at work?

I want to use my device as such:
At home or near a wireless AP, I want to connect to the
Internet. If I need to hit the work network, I need to
hit their VPN server. But I only want to do that by
choice, not all the time.

Out and about the town, use GPRS to hit the Internet. If
I need to do some work in an emergency, then hit the VPN
server. Again, only by choice.

How can I do this?

thanks.
