1. SD card error !!! Please help

I have a Kingston 512mb SD card. I have been using this card for some months
to store files and programmes without issue until this week.

Yesterday I tried to access an MP3 file on my pocket PC but it has
disappeared none of my mp3 or wmv files appear. I checked using the file
explorer and non of my files, folders or programmes appear. Instead there is
a 0kb file which is called "ignore my docs". I deleted this hoping that it
would clear the problem but no luck.

I have tried viewing the files on my desktop using a card reader - again
none of the files appear but my desktop tells me the card has 488mb memory
in use so they must be there right ?

I have run the error check app on the card from my desktop and no problems
are reported. I have also run a virus check and there are no issues.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

5. How to copy 256MB SD card to 1GB SD card

I have a PocketPC device -- a Samsung i700 with a 256 MB SD card on which I
have data files and programs installed. I just bought a 1GB SD card to
replace the 256 MB card I currently use.

I used 2 USB Flash drives attached to a Windows XP Pro desktop to copy the
smaller memory card to the larger (using Windows Explorer). The copy
completes successfully and from my PockePC device I can read the files on
the copied memory card. But, the OS (Windows Mobile 2003) can't launch any
programs that are installed on the new card.

Is there another procedure, program, or customization I need to use to get
this to work correctly?

I seem to just remember reading about a problem with doing that, try search
through the PocketPC Newsgroup or post there for more info.
