1. file sharing problem Map Network Drive not working - Windows XP Network
2. Can't connect to shared drive on my local network
HW6515A (WM 2003 SE) + Spectec Wlan11B SDIO card Connects to wireless router and to the internet with no issues. Attempting to map network shares fails. Can successfully ping the host device from the handheld with no problems. Using Linksys NSLU2 as appliance, shares seen from XP laptop on network. Exposing XP folder share on network also cannot be seen from 6515, but the notebook is seen during network scan. Ideas?
3. Attaching to a network share drive in File Explorer (with Japanese font set)
4. Can not connect to network share - Network resource cannot be found
I have a HP4100 running PPC2003. I can connect to a network share on some stations but not on all, especially Windows 2000 Server. I already checked the permissions but they are OK. The system even doesn't ask me for authentification, I just get the message : The network path was not found --> Network resource cannot be found or you do not have the permission to access the network. The Wlan works fine. Thank's for helping, Steve

7. Strange Map network drive does not work, internet works fine - Windows XP Network
8. Windows Server 2003 R2 file sharing not working on external usb drive
Problem: Filesharing is working fine except for on the External USB Hard Drive which is attached to the server. Description: The system has two logical hard drives. One Mirrored set for the C: drive, and one External USB drive as the K: (backup) drive. Folders shared on the C: drive work fine, however shared folders on the K: drive aren't working and cause a result such as: "\\localhost\K$ is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command." The share \\localhost\C$ works fine and as expected. There is 215 GB free on the C: drive and 47.2 GB free on the K: drive. Permissions and security are similar if not the same for both the Sharing and Security tabs on the C: and the K: drive. I can access shared drives on the C: drive, and I can browse the K: drive fine locally (and read and write to it). There is an EventID 2011 in the System Event Log talking about irpstacksize, however I've made the registry entry under \\HKLM \CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\paramaters\IRPStackSize Creating a new DWORD value, and have presently set it to 50 (hex 32) (The maximum according to one Microsoft KB article I read). I have rebooted and still can't access the drive. I have scanned the External Hard drive for errors, and I have defragged it. I'm looking for a solution to this problem, --Matt
