1. Is COM1 always the default serial port on PPC

Hey All,

I wanted to know if COM1 is always the name of the serial port on
Pocket PC. That is, could it ever be COM2 or COM3 for some reason. I'm
writing a component to be used by an application and I have the port
hard coded to COM1. I was wondering if this might fail on some PPC for
some reason.

thanks,
Hetal.

3. Can I Change Default SSL port in Mail?

My university is wireless, and so I'd like to use my HP iPaq 5555 to do
mobile email. However, the U. uses imap email accounts, and uses SSL at
that. Further, they don't use the standard port 25 for the SMTP server, they
use some other funky one which I forget at the moment. Is there a way to
change this default, perhaps by hacking something in the registry? If not,
is there another work around that won't end in my buying a $20 email app?

For your time, many thanks.
