I have recently purchased a new vista laptop and installed outlook2003 on it.
After I replaced the pst file with my old pst file from outlook 2003 which
was running on XP i get an error message saying "Unable to open your default
e-mail folders. the file C:\users.....pst is not compatible with this version
of the personal Folders information service"

Hi I dual boot to both OS's. Each have the same version of Outlook installed. 
Is there a way to have both OS's see the same PST file. Say I am on Vista and 
check e-mail, then later boot to XP and open Outlook. I would like it to have 
all the content from the last time it was opened in the other OS. 

I'm thinking having both versions open the same .pst file in the same place? 
But would it have to reside in a neutral location ie: not on a XP or Vista 
Partition?
