Hi,

I installed the Office 2003 including Outlook 2003. At the point that Outlook 2003 prompted me to ask if it was to be the default e-mail, I declined. I have now gone to Tools, Options, and Chosen the Choose as Default for e-mail, etc., option. BUt when I'm in Internet Explorer or just Outlook 2003 itself, my e-mail does not go to Outlook 2003. Instead, when I press the mail icon on the toolbar of the browser it pulls up Outlook Express 6. How do I get my e-mail sent to Outlook 2003?

Just transferred my mail account to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 from 
Outlook Express. However, even after checking the "make default email" option

I have Express on a desk top with one pop3 account.  I installed Outlook 2003 
recreated the pop3 account and added a new SMTP account (also in Outlook 
2003) 
 
Mail to the new SMTP account goes into Outlook OK, but mail to the POP3 
account still goes into Express

Outlook is set as my default, I have removed the POP3 account from Express, 
turned off the auto check for mail in Express and tried stern language.  Any 
suggestions?

We have Outlook, which my husband uses as his primary e-mail client, but the 
kids and I all use Windows Mail so that our individual e-mails are kept 
separate from each other.  I prefer to be able to select my contact first, 
then new e-mail message.  When I do this, however, it defaults to Outlook 
rather than to Windows Mail.  Since I'm not set up in Outlook, I can't send 
from there.  How do I get it to default to Windows Mail?  I've searched the 
help menus, but haven't been able to find what I need there.
