5. Outlook 2002: Setting a default "To" Address
Hello, We're running Outlook 2002 as clients for an Exchange 2000 server. Outlook uses the default Global address list that is created by Exchange. Fine and dandy. A number of users have multiple entries in the address list, for example: a main contact and a "send text message to cell phone" contact. So if a user goes to send a new email to someone on the local network, they'll type in the first name of the person they want to send it to. Then when they click 'send' Outlook will match the name up to a contact in the global address list and send the mail. Except when they're trying to send to one of the users who has multiple entries in the global address list. In these cases it pops up an extra window displaying the different addresses found and asks which one you want to send it to. It isn't really that big of a deal, but it annoys the users, and anything that annoys them makes my life as sysadmin alot more difficult. So is there any to set up Outlook to default to sending to the main contact entry instead of the pager entry when only the first name is typed in? That pager entry is rarely used, but must be kept in the global address list in case there is ever a problem. Thanks for any help.

7. color view is damaged - restoring default settings
I just received a message from one of executives who is out on the road. He got a message about color view is damaged - restoring default settings when he opened Outlook 2003. All of his color-coded and color-sorted messages are now in black. Does he have to restore this by hand? Or, is this a known issue with a fix available? Thanks! -- Charles
