Microsoft Office Outlook >> outlook changes format and font by itself

by TWFudWVsIFJhbWlyZXo » Fri, 14 Oct 2005 12:16:13 GMT

When copying a text to a mail, some times outlook changes its format and font
by itself, sometimes it changes the format or font of other parts of the
mail. In other cases it doesn't change the font of a word or sentence if
copied from somewhere else, or another mail. Have to cut it, paste it in the
address or subjet, where it loses the format, and paste it back in the mail.

1. Outlook changed format by itself

We are using word as the editor in outlook 2003. In doing so when we received
the message as one of the addressees the format was plain text not the rich
text format that it was sent. The document was sent not as an attachment but
was inbedded in the message itself. It was
as if outlook changed from rich text to plain text all by itself.

5. Font changes when I change message format to HTML

If I change an e-mail from plain or rich text to HTML, the font changes from
my preferred Verdana 10 to Times New Roman 8. I cannot figure out where this
setting can be changed.

I've set every font preference that I can find to Verdana, but still the
Times New Roman shows up when I change the format to HTML (whether it is a
new, forwarded, replied to, or re-sent message).

Does anyone know of a place to change this? Thanks in advance for your
assistance.
