Microsoft Office Outlook >> How to get an 'and' in a rule when looking at a subject

by SmFjaw » Wed, 12 Oct 2005 10:01:02 GMT

I would like to create a rule the does an 'and' when searching the subject.
Let's say that I receive an e-mail and I need to search the subject for
"Bill" "richest" "world" - I need to locate all three words but they are not
necessarily a phrase. Outlook does an 'or' when the three words are used but
I need it to do an 'and' so that only when all three are present that the
rule is executed.

Thanks in advance,

Hello all,

I'm looking for an Outlook addon to track responses to e-mails using
e-mail subjects.

Example: today i send an e-mail with subject "hello, how are you?".
Tommorow i want to be able to start the plugin a to see if the
response for this e-mail with subject "Re: hello, how are you?" have
arrived.

I know this can be done manually using follow-up feature of Outlook,
but i look for some kind of automation of this process. Also i am
aware of the fact that this approach fails if the subject is changed
in the response, but it is uncommon in my case.

I would greatly appreciate any tips.

best wishes,
Andrei
