Hi all!.

Somebody know, which is the current consumption of microdisc for both voltages?.

Thanks.

Alf.

voltages?.

About the actual current consumption, I don't know, I guess it depends if
the drive or head motors are starting or idle...
What I can tell you is the maximum current delivered by the power supply,
would that be ok ?

Best regards,

Fabrice

PS: Hey, are you Alfonso ? How many identities do you have ? ;-)

Here is what is written on my microdisc power supply:
9V DC @ 1,6 A
12V DC @ 0,9 A

The 1,6A allows to power an atmos plus two microdisc units (a master and
slave), each equipment having its own regulator to extract +5V from the 9V.
If you use a modern PC switching power supply, you don't need these
regulators, and even a small 60W power supply will be enough to power all
your Oric hardware...

Best regards,

Fabrice
