Mac storage hardware >> 2.5 inch SCSI Hard Drive Adapter

Hello,

I have several old SCSI hard drives from Mac laptops which I need to
read data from. The drives are 2.5 inch SCSI, and I am looking for a
way to convert them so I can read them off a standard SCSI cable. The
adapter I need (http://cablesonline.stores.yahoo.net/25lapscsihar.html)
is proving to be difficult to find online, and the couple places that
do have them listed don't actually have them in stock as they have been
discountinued.

I have not yet been able to find a source for such an adapter. Does
anyone know where I might be able to find one? Or any ideas on how
else I can read these drives on standard SCSI?

Thanks

Ryan

There used to be a guy in Australia called Adam selling these but not
anymore. Does anybody know of somebody else? It allows one to use a
full size IDE drive on the original (pre-Intel that now uses SATA) Power
PC Mini. For most people in North America, that means you can sell your
40 gb 4200 rpm notebook drive and notebook optical drive and replace
them with much faster, cheaper and larger (hard drive) versions. I've
been using one for several months on a 1.25 ghz Mini and it works great.
But a friend wants a Mini so I wanted to get one for him.

Anybody know of a non-Apple Mini power adapter replacement? Is the 18
volt power requirement that unusual? One could always resplice the
wires.

6. SCSI scanner, FW-to-SCSI adapter, iBook G4???

I have an old Olympus ES-10 SCSI film scanner that served me well with a
SCSI-equipped Mac running OS 9 and Photoshop 4.

My current Mac is an iBook G4 that runs OS X 10.4 and will not boot into OS 9.

Do I have any hope of using this scanner through a FireWire SCSI adapter while
in Classic mode?
