AS/400, Schedule keyboard recording macro?

Until we can get a programmer out to help a client I would like to know if
it is possible to somehow schedule a Client Access macro to kick off at a
specific time every day.

Any ideas?

Basically the macro simply logs into an app, calls up a menu and fills in
the blanks, and then repeats the steps in three other menus.

component) and see HLLAPI, that allow to write a sort of automated
operator in a language of choice.

There will be several other way but:
In client access create a new session. Setup a startup script via Edit/
preferences/macro-script then assign your script here to a session
which you will only use for the scheduled job.
In windows? Start/settings/controlpanel/sceduled tasks setup a command
to start the above session

Start with an innocuous script & test it to death. Some things to
consider are what happens if the windows box is in screensaver/sleep/
hibernate/powered down - logged off logged on as another user etc
I find the scheduler OK ish but it dosnt sync my windows password with
what I enter in the schedule box. Thanks for reminding me I need to do
just that since I changed mine last week sometime...
