Hello I hope that somebody can help. I have designed an experiment and will use Matlab to collect behavioural data from participants. I need to know how to send a signal every time an event occurs so that I can pick it up in an amplifier and play it on a speaker. The idea is similar to intracellular recording with neurons whereby the neuron firing is amplified and played on a speaker to guide experimenters. The reason I cannot use the normal sound-producing features in Matlab or Psychtoolbox is that the sound onset latencies are too large and variable for my purposes. The quality of sound production isn't important as I only want to produce a simple 'pip' or 'click' sound for each event. Many thanks Tom
I need a power amplifier circuitry, that I can easily find the equipment. In my project I want to send a 50 kHz sinewave and see that signal from a receiver. The possible voltage that I can use is approximately 5V., the circuits power consumption must be low. Also I need an antenna design for this application. Please I' am waiting your replies, thanks...
I've notice a different behavior of this block, from Matlab version 7.0.4 SP2 and 7.1 SP3. With the same signal and the same 'default.amp' I can see two different output signal power levels for the same input signal. Can you help me to solve this problem? Regards Gian Luca Natale
