Hope you can help,
I have created 5 separate VI's that I want to run.   For example,  I want a main Vi that will have control buttons that jumps to other VI's depending on which button is pressed.  Causing the selected VI to run.  Then be able to switch back the the main VI after I'm finished running the selected VI.
I'm not sure where I should start or what is the best way to do this.  I have crated all of the VI's but I can't seem to link them together.  Hopefully, this question makes since.
Thanks for you help,
Amy:smileyhappy:

5. 2 screens open in dev mode when I open one screen

I have an application that used to work properly, then somehow, LabVIEW just seemed to change the way it was working.  I have written an application that opens a main screen.  This is called "mainscreen.vi".  Inside the main screen vi, when it runs, it opens another vi, called "setup.vi".  The problem I have is that when I first launch LabVIEW, then open "mainscreen.vi", "setup.vi" also opens right along with it.  These vi's are not running upon opening.  Both are in dev mode and are not running at all.  Why would another vi suddenly start opening along with mainscreen?  Whe I open setup.vi by itself, it is the only one that opens.  This is very frustrating, as I am getting tired of constantly having to fix settings within LavVIEW that seem to change all by themselves.  When running the application (exe version), since both screens open upon launch, the setup screen won't go away.  It is set up to close if originally closed, but since it was open from the start, it won't close and release the program back to the main screen.  Please help.
Thanks.

6. run a subvi by pressing a button multiple times

7. minimum screen size exceeds size of the main screen

Everytime that I modify the VI Properties, I get an error message when I click OK, "The minimum screen size you set exceeds the size of the main screen".  But I have the minimum size already set to the current window size by using the button, 'Set to Current Window Size'.  My window size is 1130X860.  If I click OK in the error message, my VI works fine.  But why did I get the error message?  I can make the error message not appear if I set the minimum window size significantly less than my current window size.  But I don't want to allow users to make the window smaller than the current size.

If I create a new VI, the new VI doesn't have the same problem.  So, it isn't a problem with my installation.  I've played with all of the window size and other settings in VI Properties, but I couldn't find a setting that would fix this error message.

I'm using LV 8.0.1 on XP.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
