One thing that BBC BASIC for Windows has lacked is a good beginners'
tutorial. Although there has been no shortage of books and other
instructional material for BBC BASIC, the majority have dealt with
either the 'generic' language or have been specific to Acorn versions.
Now there's a beginners' tutorial specifically for BBC BASIC for
Windows, covering some of the unique extensions in that version (e.g.
structures) and using the Windows interface for its examples. It can
be viewed online here:
http://www.bbcbasic.co.uk/products/bbcwin/tutorial/
If you prefer hardcopy you can find a PDF version here:
http://www.bbcbasic.co.uk/products/bbcwin/tutorial/bbctutor.pdf
The tutorial has also been incorporated in the latest release of BBC
BASIC for Windows, version 5.10b, which can be downloaded from here:

It is accessible from the Help menu in both the full version and the
free evaluation version.
