I'm looking for a texture that I can apply to a plain sphere that has 
the alternating black/white pentagrams of a soccer ball.  Yes, I realize 
that the sphere won't look exactly right, but it'll do for what I need.

Anyone know of where I can get such a texture?

6. Texturing a soccer field

I'm appling a texture to a polygon
and i'm using the same meausers as soccerfield,
i.e. 0,0 -> 0,50 -> 100,50 -> 100,0

when i apply the texture it's streshed upon the whole surface
so it's just a big square not a soccer field :-)

how to tell openGL to repeat the texture 100x50 times upon
that surface?

or i'm using the wrong method? maybe should i draw 100x50 small
squares?

8. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 - PCI Graphics Card suggestion?

Not entirely sure this is where I should put this, but oh well.

Right I got Pro Evolution Soccer 5 for christmas, and while I have
enough HD space and RAM and a fast enough processor, I do not have the
right kind of graphics card (I have an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV).

I looked at the list of recommended graphics cards;

NVIDIA GeForce: 4 Ti, 6800, FX (5950, 5900, 5800, 5600, 5200), 3
ATI Radeon: x800, 9800, 9700, 9600, 9500, 9200, 9000, 8500

but unfortunately, these all require AGP slots on the motherboard,
something I can't get access to on my motherboard.

So, does anyone know of a PCI alternative that would work just as well
as the above.  If possible has anyone actually used a PCI card with Pro
Evo 5.
