Can you be a bit more specific in your requirements please, e.g.

* Number of Users
* Supported Platforms
* Required Functionality
* Budget indication

Many Thanks

I agree with Rob Kenny.

* Why do you want a Document Mangement Software?
* Who will maintain the software?
* What do you want to accomplish with the DM?

If you can answer both Rob and my questions, I think you'll get two
different perspectives/softwares and price points.

Kindest regards

OK,

That is more COLD (Computer Output to Laser Disk) that document
management. There are products out there that can do this. My
experience is with Planet Press (www.planetpress.com) and taking a pool
file and generating XML and PDF is no problem for it. I have not tried
sending text to a db, but I am sure that there are a few ways to do it
with the software even if it can not do it directly, for example PP
could also generate a CSV file that can be imported.

Other people might be able to advise on other products.
