Are there any products Like Verity ( Cardiff ) Teleform ?
We have a desire to save money and get more functionality. :)
We have TELEform 8.2 Enterprise but have learned that Verity has jacked
up the price to a very high level up to about 150% in like 14 months or
so.
We are interested in having it OCR hundreds of Teleform designed forms
a day that are emailed to us via Fax to Email service. So we import all
the tiffs into TELEform.
We have about 3 data entry people who verify the 'iffy' content.
Then we send out correction faxes to people or request corrections from
the web.
We ended up automating much of this ourselves, but would like to know
if there are cheaper and as good products as Autonomy TELEform,
formerly Verity, formerly Cardiff.
An audit trail would be nice. As well the possibility to get at all
the form info like (Form ID, name, field names, field text, field
type...) so we can automate the form processing further later on. Or
build our databases programatically...
