solidworks >> Simulation error message - SW2004

by miket » Thu, 30 Dec 2004 06:50:09 GMT

Hello,

I have an assembly in which upon rebuild, I get the error
message:

"Simulation: This feature had an error in the last update. Edit
definition on the feature to correct the problem".

I cannot find what is being referred to here. Yes, I did run a
simulation at one point, but now I cannot seem to clear it. How can I
find where this is, and delete it?

Thank you.

Replying to my own post:

One of the two BSIM models set the parameter IS to 0. Because of this, the
diodes in this
model are open circuits.

Still, it's a interesting warning message.

4. Plot PMP File Error message

This is driving me nutz...

At work I use to have Autocad LT 2002. Now I've a full version of 2005.

But with many of my older drawing files, evertime I go to plot them I get the
following Error message:

" There was an error opening the file C:\PROGRAM FILES\AUTOCAD LT
2002\drv\SomeFileName.pmp. The PMP file has been set to None. "

My current Printer Description file path is correct and under my User name in
Documents and Settings - ...AutoCAD 2005\R16.1\enu\plotters\PMP Files

So how do I (if possible) get rid of this annoying message?

I've looked through XP Registry for the PMP file, but no joy.

Is this info buried in each DWG file?

Any thoughts appreciated.

6. ADT 3.3 and Express Tools error message.....

When reinstalling Express Tools to a new computer using Autocad
Desktop 3.3, I get the following error message:

16 Bit Windows Subsystem
---------------------------------------
C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT. The system file is not suitable for
running MS DOS or Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate
the application.

Close-___	Ignore___

WIth either choice above, the application/installation closes and
Express tools cannot be installed....Any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

8. bogus? error message from pipo

Hi all,

I have SKILL layout which includes some PCells. When I run "pipo
strmout" to create my GDSII files, I get the following error message
to my terminal:

*Error* eval: undefined function - pcDefinePCell
*Error* load: error while loading file - "radnfet.il"

(radnfet.il is the first of my PCell definition files).

But:
1. There is no additional error messages in PIPO.LOG
2. The GDSII output is correct!

I am almost certain that I am not violating the "PCell safety rules".
In fact if I create a PCell directly from the examples in the Cadence
manuals, I still get the error message above - even if I don't use the
PCell.

Has anyone seen this "error" message before, and know how to get rid
of it? (Customers and management don't like error messages, even bogus
ones).
