solidworks >> DXF polyline

A client has a plasma cutter cnc table that needs DXF's with all the
lines being poly lines. Can this be done on a DXF save as or export?

Before you ask I do not know the make or model of the CNC table.

Congrats on the girl. Do you have some virtual cigars for us?

DWGEditor should be able to do the conversion. Select the lines and
MODIFY/EDIT/POLYLINE. Choose Y to convert and J to join.

1. Manipulate the element in the DXF from MicroStation, durin DXF are still DXF

Hello Group!!

Is this possible to manipulate "*.dxf-referen-ces "and/or. the
elements in "*.dxf referen-ces " - it concerns here translation and
rotation

The "*.dxf-attachments shoot still stay *.Dxf appendices !!!

In other words I want to manipulate the data in the DXF references
from ms * without *, that I must import the DXF first in DGN.

It is clear, that I can manipulate the DXF reference - rotate and
translate - as FILE. But these changes become in *.To dgn file stored
and are lost as soon as

those DXF files become disattached.

It' about being able to manipulate from MicroStation the elements of
the

DXF. The possible changes of the positions and the orientation shoot
be stored IN THE DXF.

It would be super if someone giv its opinion for the realisibility of
the

project, perhaps on the basis of own experience.

Sorry, for bad english !!!

3. save as .dxf or convert .sldprt to .dxf

Hi,

I want to save a part in .dxf file format so that I can open it in
another program that can guide a cnc router to cut the part.

Solidworks doesn't seem to be able to save as a dxf. Is there any free/
cheap way of doing this?

Thanks,

Adam

5. How to remove polylines gaps at vertices??

I want to draw a centre-line linetype as a polyline and with a width.

When I do this the vertices are not filled like you see when drawing a
full line with width.

Is there a way to get a continuous full line at the vertices when using
a broken line of any sort (eg centre-line)?

Changing PLINEGEN does not seem to fix this.

Using ACAD 2005.
