The install when ok but when I try and load bf2142.exe it says bf2142.exe has stopped working windows vista closes it and goes back to the desktop. I run the exe as admin and that doesn't work (but will when I actually get the game to run for punk buster) and I have tried running the game in xp sp2 compatibility mode and then it says insert the correct disc which has never left the drive.... I am stumped any help would be greatly appreciated

7. Halo 2 for Vista Can't run in Win7 home premium live gaming failed
Hi, I just bought Halo 2 for Vista and tried to install in my new DELL Win7 Desktop. The OS is Win7 home premium with 64 bits. I kept getting this error message: Live Gaming on Windows failed to initialize. This may be because another LIVE Gaming on Windows application (such as the Halo 2 dedicated server) is running on the same machine. Otherwise, reinstalling the game may fix this problem." I tried reinstall and reboot my PC about 10 times. I even change the game to use backward compatible with "Windows Vista" or "Vista with Sp1". But the error message just won't go away. I have no problem running 'Fallout 3" with windows gaming live and if I run Windows Gaming Live alone, it also works. Does anyone have any idea to fix this?
