games >> Disk full message when installing program--NOT FULL

I am trying to install the program PCTV TV Center Pro 4.7 for my Pinnicle HD
Pro Stick TV tuner. Every time I try to install the program I get the
message that there is not enough disk space. I have 60 GB free. I do have
limited space on my D: drive, but that is for recovery, so I don't know why
that would matter. I have Vista home premium. I have installed the program
on windows XP computer with no difficulties.

I've tried the tech support at Pinnicle and I have received very little
assistance. They have told me to run the program as administrator and delete
my temp files. I've done both of those and neither worked.

Has anyone had a similar problem and/or know a solution?

Not a gaming question, but the program's installer probably is not used to
seeing large numbers, when you get to a certain number size if the program
isn't ready for that big of a number the right-most bit will cause the
program to think the number is "Negative".

In other words the program probably thinks you have a negative amount of
free space.

How to fix...

Call the software manufacturer (Pinnacle?), or go to their website and see
if there's a solution for the problem. They may have software you can
download online that'll work in place of the CD that came with the tuner
stick.

Good luck,
A.

3. Shared Disk Space full when not full

In addition to backing up to tape we back up to a spare disk on a Windows
2000 workstation for easy restore of single files. It is an 80 Gig disk but
the backup utility says the disk is full after about 10 Gig. The same
happens when we run the backup utility on the server or pull the data with
the backup utility on the Windows 2000 Workstation.

We have done this same thing at many sites without this complication.

5. USB Key Drive and Full disk message

I have a lexar usb key drive that has 256 megs. I formatted the drive using
HFS+.

When I try to drag 150 pictures from iPhoto onto the usb key to copy the
pictures, I get disk is full message. So I create a folder on my desktop,
and copy the files from iPhoto onto that newly created folder on the desktop.
 That works perfectly.

So when I try to copy the 150 files to the lexar usb drive, I get the same
message of full disk. If i just drag the entire new folder that contains the
150 files, the files are copied perfectly.

So does anyone know why I can't copy 150 individual files but I can copy the
150 files if they are all in a folder.

Thanks

I recently bought a new laptop to handle my music file (Im a songwriter). It
has a 60 gig hard drive (55.8 I think) and says I have 40 unused gigs left.
However, when attempting to save a music track, I get an error message saying
disk is full! I saved the 1st track by closing other programs (like sound
editors and processors etc.), but complained again when trying to save a 2nd
track. My music folder only has 1.6 gigs in it. I'm the sole user of this
computer. I cant find that quota tab they talk about in the help
