I have a Nikon D80 Digital Camera. HP laptop computer, with Vista Home os.
When i try to download pictures using usb, the camera is recognized, but
message pops up saying it needs to download software. Systems search for
software but does not find it. Nikon says I'm missing a ptpusb.inf driver.
Anyone have any informaton or help regarding this issue?

Nikon comes with its own software called Nikon Capture. It should be on a CD
in the camera box. Have you loaded that? Possibly the music_pictures_video
newsgroup can provide more info for you.

7. Camera Wizard will not come up for downloading pictures when I plug in my camera 

I am using Windows XP and all of a sudden the Camera 
Wizard Box does not come up when I connect my Nikon 
Digital Camera to my computer.  Clicking on the camera 
and scanner icon under the start button does not help, it 
comes up only as the scanner and not the camera.  

Any help on how to get the wizard come up when I plug in 
my camera will be greatly appreciated.
