I cant open any of the games like solitaire, minesweeper, etc.
I just get alot of noise like cockroaches crawling all over
and a "Not responding".
When i click on the [x] to close the box, i get the window offering
to search for a problem but nothing happens there either.
Oh, i have Home Premium 64

Just modifying my message with a little more detail:



I cant open any of the games like solitaire, minesweeper, etc.
I just get a blank screen with alot of noise like cockroaches crawling all

and a "Loading Resources...Not responding" in the upper left bar of the
window.
When i click on the [ X ] to close the box, i get the window offering to
"Check for a solution and restart the program" but nothing happens there
either.
Oh, i have Home Premium 64

  I have a clean install of Vista home premium. I updated all my drivers. 
But when I want to install some games or other software, it goes until the 
middle of the process or so, but then everithing freezes. And I see the 
message like: "Windows explorer not responding", or "Volume E: not 
responding". And its not just software,  when I try to read or copy some data 
CDs, I got the same response. I wonder if anybody had similar problems.

The worst part is that when I try and uninstall sp2, it says file not found
and does not uninstall successfully.  System restore also does not work.
Even when I try to go to a download site to re download the service pack, I
get a blank screen.  I tried calling Microsoft and they don't have an
answer.  They say the only thing we can do now is try the xp disc but HP pc
did not come with a disc.  Suggestions are greatly appreciated as I am using
my old pc to post since I get a low memory message on the other one when I
try to send an e-mail.

Since I received the last two updates I can no longer 
access the Zone.com free games. ie Backgammon, checkers 
etc.

I can install the game and it runs fine. But as soon as I 
go to play the game again next time, it does not respond. 
I click the icon like any normal person would, but it just 
does nothing. If I reinstall the game, it works fine. I 
shouldn't have to reinstall every time I want to play. Any 
suggestions???
