games, Turned Vista Business games on from Progs & Feature but they won't

1. Problem with installing games feature in Vista Business

2. Turn on windows features Vista business 32 bit

I cannot turn on games or in any other feature(that's off) in 32 bit version 
of windows vista business.  I get an error has occurred.  Not all features 
were successfully changed.
This is a dual boot computer with xp pro sp2 as the other os.  The dual boot 
part works fine.

Hello

When I try to turn on or off a Windows feature, I keep getting the error 
message: "An error has occurred.  Not all of the 
features were successfully changed." 

Please help.

6. Can't add Games using the 'Turn Windows Features on or off'

I removed Games via the 'Turn Windows Features on or off' function in the 
Control Panel as I was getting an error message to set the file association 
when I tried to open via the Start Menu - turns out this was a problem with 
removing the shortcut arrow on Desktop icons.  I have tried to add the Games 
back but get an error message, 'not all the features were successfully added'.

Short of repairing or reinstalling Vista has anyone got any other suggestions?
