3. playing CD audio track in PowerPoint 97
I've been working on a PowerPoint presentation on two computers, one with Windows XP Professional and PowerPoint 2003 and one with Windows 2000 Professional and PowerPoint 2002. I have successfully run the presentation with CD audio from both computers, but now the audio will only run on the XP. On the Windows 2000, the CD begins to spin on the first slide but then almost immediately stops. I have set the tracks (begin track 4 time 00:00, end track 6 time 00:02), and set the CD to play for 115 slides (longer than the presentation, actually) with Custom Animation. Why does the CD stop as soon as it starts?
I have a presentation that contains 100 slides. Each slide is set to automatcally advance after 3 seconds. I am trying to add CD audio tracks or MP3's from my hard drive to play in the back ground while the slides continue to automatically advance. The problem I am having is that when I insert the MP3's or the audio tracks, the slides won't automatically advance while the music is playing. Please help. Thx!

8. PPT 2004 doesn't keep links to external audio when CDs are burned
When I burn a CD of the folder that contains all of the parts of my presentation, PPT loses the links to my external audio. All of the audio files are .aif's and are exported from GarageBand to iTunes and then brought into PowerPoint 2004. The CDs work perfectly except for the audio! Also, I've tried the "PowerPoint Package" format, and it doesn't work, either. All it does is save a .ppt file in a folder. No audio, either. Please help! Thanks.
