working in power point and the ribbon option are highlighted in green and I
can't perform any operations as they are locked up what do I do. Clear
format won't work either.

When I am making a new slide in power Point I will coping and pasting words to the new slide from MS Word or an email sent to me and it sometimes comes up with a green background which I did not choose. I start with a white background.. Why is this happening. I have Windows XP, and Power Point 2003, With MS Office 2003..How can I prevent this from happening and why does it happen? 4. Cropping tool on picture tool bar
I recently created a slide show in PP 2003 using the photo album options to mass import pictures from a file to the slides. The transfer went great but when I highlight one of these picture in the slide the cropping tool does not become active for this picture. When I insert the same picture the more conventional (and slower way) one at a time the cropping tool works fine. Why does the cropping tool not work on pictures imported with the photo album option? I wrote a VB program to create a PP presentation. After the program ends there is still a POWERPOINT.EXE task consuming about 50% CPU. I verified closing and setting to NOTHING all the objects I've allocated. Any idea ?
8. why is the crop tool is not highlighted?
the picture tool bar is displayed and the picture is selected but the crop tool cannot be selected, any ideas?
