word >> Selecting Multiple Graphics in Word

Occasionally in my Word documents I'll have a page with few or no actual
text. Instead, I may have a number of pictures (using the "in front of text"
layout) and some text boxes.
Question: is there any way to select all the graphics at once? I find that
the only way to do so is to shift-click on each graphic. Using <command>-A
selects only Word's text.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris -
On the Drawing Toolbar there is a dashed-rectangle-black-arrow button called
the Select Objects tool. Click it, then you can drag a selection 'marquee'
around the objects on a page that you want to select - even if there *is*
text on the page.

4. Select All doesn't select graphics in text boxes
Background:
* Using Word 2003
* All graphics are linked to the source files, not embedded
* All graphics are in-line with text
* Some graphics are inside text boxes
I've found that "Select All" ignores the text boxes. So, when I press
Ctrl+A and then F9 to update references, any graphics I have in those text
boxes don't get updated.
Is there an easier workaround than going through the file page by page,
finding each text box, selecting the graphic in it, and updating it?
Thanks
