I've been exporting icons for powerpoint from Adobe Illustrator as .png files, 150dpi.

When I bring them into powerpoint, the text looks blurry and the image overall not as crisp when sized at 50%.

At 100%, it looks great. Is there a way to keep my images clear at any size? Should I be exporting them as a different file type, dpi, etc.?

Thank you.

The problem may very well be a matter of how you "bring them in". There are
several different methods, all but *1* of which are wrong :-) Are you using
Insert> Picture> From File?

Hi,

If illustrator will export your images as PDF, give that a try.

Just wanted to be sure - Many don't realize what the "convenience" of
copy/paste & drag 'n' drop compromises.

As an alternative to Jim's suggestion you might also try exporting from Illy
as an EMF file... Not my personal favorite graphics format but it often does
the trick :-)

6. How to export charts as vector graphics

Hello,

I need to be able to edit charts made in Excel X using Adobe Illustrator. I
can't seem to figure out how to export or save the charts in an appropriate
format. I can paste as an object in PowerPoint (the hope is to save them as
PICT files), but even then the chart won't convert into a drawing object,
and when I save the PowerPoint presentation as a PICT file it can't be
opened in Illustrator.

What's the trick?

Hi - I'm trying to add a VECTOR image into word for use as a letterhead template. I don't want a pixel format as this would a) lose definition and b) make the file size large for letter storage. I've tried a PDF format but this seems to pixelate and an eps is just too large a file size.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
