Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

When I click on an item and then move the mouse, the item moves even though I released the mouse. How do I stop this? It's driving me crazy!! <br>

What kind of Mouse do you have? It sounds like it may be one that supports a
feature commonly referred to as 'clicklock'. Check the System Preferences
for the device & adjust accordingly. If you actually have a notebook Mac the
preferences for the 'Trackpad' refer to the setting as "Drag Lock".

Entourage crashes every time I click and drag a contact from a GROUP window (trying to move the contact to a NEW Group window).

When I select a word, release the clicker, and then try to click and drag
the word, it acts as if I never released the clicker before trying to drag
because it continues to select the words that the arrow is moving across.
And, of course, the originally selected word doesn't drag.
