I am trying to record the narration in ppt. The narration is almost always truncated to varying degrees. I have tried both options of keeping slide times and not keeping them. Is there any resolution for this?

1. EXCEL Warns of Truncation
Greetings,
I can select a single row or column in excel and then select copy. I now get
a popup window from excel that warns "The picture is too large and will be
truncated."
1) What is possible causing this condition
2) What can I do to prevent it?
I am in a standards worksheet. I am not dealing with a 'picture' so the text
of the message is troubling. And to amplify the annoyance, the window
requires not one but two clicks to clear from the screen.

All my narrations are truncated. The times vary from 20 to 40 sec only. This
will happen even in a one slide presentation.
Could this be a hardware issue? I am using a Logitech USB microphone with

I have tried for weeks to get a 20 narration to play correctly in my
powerpoint. I've search everywhere for help. The voice is truncated
on several slides. I've tried importing pieces on each individual
slide as a slide transition....I've tried narrating the entire piece
and then setting the timings of the slide to fit. I've come so close,
but can not quite get there.
Help?

7. Truncated narration
When I record narrations (using the internal mic) in PowerPoint X. (10.1.4
updated) on a PowerBook running OS X (10.2.6), the narration seems to be
randomly truncated on most slides. Narration may stop recording on a given
slide after 10 seconds, record the narration again and the same slide might
stop recording after a few minutes, do it again and it may work fine.
Power management settings are set long, much longer than any given slide.
It happens regardless of whether the narration is linked or not.
Anyone seen this or have a solution?
Thanks
Brad
