As you can tell from this question, I am a new user of PowerPoint:

I know how to create a Title Slide, but how do you identify a slide as a
Title Slide once it's been created?

The answer depends on which verion of PPT you're using, but youve omitted
that key piece of information :-)

The source of your message suggests you may be using one of the Windows
versions but you've posted to the Mac PPT group... If my hunch is correct
you'd do better to post to the group for PC PPT which you'll find here:

For many questions some of us are able to answer regardless of Mac or PC,
but we still need to have version specifics in order to provide an accurate
response.

How can I add a title master to a slide? I just get a new version of Powerpoint (2008 for Mac) and I found only slide, handout and notes master...in the older version there was also a title master at the same place.

I often need to copy a couple of Powerpoint slides into Word documents. Copying them as "Pictures" renders a very low quality both for on-screen and printed formats. When I attempt to copy a slide as "Microsoft Powerpoint Slide Object" I get an "There is insufficient Memory. Save document now" message, and obviously no paste. I have tried several basic workarounds, including restarrting, closing all applications and altering all combinations between .doc, docx, .ppt and .pptx. I have the latest updates and service packs both for Office 2008 and OSX. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a workaround that gets the job done?

I have an existing presentation with a number of slides that have their titles entered as an ordinary text box rather than in a title box, so the slide title is blank in outline view. I would like to convert the existing text box to a title.

The only way I have found to do this is to select all the text in the text box (command-A), cut it (command-X), then paste it into the blank title in the slide outline. Then I have to format the placement/ position of the title to make it match what it was before.

Is there a better way to do this?

I am trying to have the slide titles displayed on my web version (HTML) of the PPT - I use the function under "save as" webpage to create the HTML - right now it only shows the slide number instead of the true title; i.e. slide 1.  Also, any notes I have are not displayed either. <br><br>Is there a setting somewhere or can I make modifications to an HTML file where I can list the slide titles - I am a little familiar with HTML programming and visual basic. <br><br>I am using Firefox as my web browser to check the HTML version of my PPT.
