powerpoint >> Scale image

Ok, i've managed to get a batch import going for 2008, but my images are terribly small. Looking at the AS dictionary, i don't see any command for scaling that allows me to set the properties as simply "fill slide". I simply want a full slide sized picture.

2. Printing duplicat and scaled images

With PowerPoint 2003 and Win 2000 we have certain files
that will print an image that instead of being one at
100%, is being repeated in it's space. An image might be
replicated 10 times but it will be scaled and placed in
the correct spot on the page. Doesn't seem to happen on
the HP devices and only on color machines. One is
Minolta with Fiery and one is stand alone Kyocera.

Saw this posted on another sight but no fix yet.

     Thanks

6. Scaling down image file size in an existing Powerpoint Presentation

I have developed and archived a number of Powerpoint lectures, in which
I have mindlessly inserted images that are VERY high resolution (and
therefore MUCH larger image files than I really need).

In some of these presentations, images that should have optimally been
~640x480 for the arrangement I've used.... have often been insanely
large 2400x1700 pixel images. As a result.... I wind up with huge,
cumbersome Powerpoint presentations.

I know that I could correct this mess by individually copying each of
these images from each Powerpoint slide (sometimes up to 4 images per
slide in a presentation of 50 slides) into Photoshop; scale down image
proportionally; paste back into original Powerpoint slide; and then
delete the original huge image. However... the prospect of doing that
painful task is daunting.

Is there any way of doing a "batch" scaling of images (setting a
maximum size for images, in the manner one can do with a folder full of
images in Macromedia Fireworks?)

Thanks
Tim

This should help:

Choose Tools, Autocorrect Options.
On the AutoCorrect As You Type tab, remove the check next to:
   - Automatic layout for inserted objects
Many people like to remove the checks from the two or three items above that.
It all depends on how much hair you have on your head and how you feel about
keeping it. ;-)

Click OK.

That should keep it from meddling with your image sizes in the future. You
might have to delete the first image on each of your slides and re-insert it.

Or to save a little time, CTRL+Drag it to one side, delete the original, use
the copy instead.
