Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Hi - I have a printer that is able to staple docs, but I can't locate the setting option in PowerPoint. Any thoughts on how to set this up?
Thanks.
1. PowerPoint 2000 printing problem with staples
2. no 'print from' options in print center
I'm new to mac and maybe this is a case of unfamiliarity with OS and software. Trying to print notes pages from ms powerpoint x, all the help resources i can find seem to indicate that the print centre should include the option to print from powerpoint. This should appear in the copies and pages pop-up. However nothing like this appears. The same thing is true of all office applications I have OSX 10.2.8 on a powerbook G4 thanks for any help on this...
3. Safari: faster printing;, more printing options?
4. Print Method: Print as Image option for Acrobat and PDF files
I've had some recent encounters with PDF files that wil display onscreen on a Mac with no problem but won't print because of PostScript errors that are apparently related to differences in Times New Roman fonts between PCs and Macs. These printing problems go away if I select "Print Method: Print as Image" rather than "Print Method: PostScript" in the Acrobat or Acrobat Reader submenu of the Print dialog box. [Setup is Mac IBook, OS 9.2, Acrobat and Acrobat Reader 5.0, AdobePS printer driver in the Chooser, HP 6MP LaserJet.] I just like to understand a little better what's happening here behind the scenes?: * Why does one option work, the other not? * Am I losing anything in the documents that are printed using the "Print as Image" option? (e.g., reduced resolution, slower printing, etc) * Is this "Print Method" option part of Acrobat and Acrobat Reader? Or part of the AdobePS driver? Or ??? * Is there a way to set this as the default option for printing *all* PDF files, in the Preferences file for whatever app contains this option? Any reasons *not* to do this (if it can be done)? * Is the whole problem likely to go away once I upgrade to OS X?
5. How to find whether PowerPoint has finished printing?
