Question1: I have 2007 Microsoft but get email PowerPoint 2003 how do
I save it as 2007 so I can insert other PowerPoint?
Question2: I have prepared a slide show that was done in Microsoft
PowerPoint 07 version can I view it in 03 version?
Have you ever been puzzled with these problems?
It's really inconvenience for us to play PowerPoint on different
computers, because we have to worry about versions of PowerPoint
installed on these computers.
1, Animation effects you have applied for the presentation in
Microsoft PowerPoint '07 may not be available in '03 version
2, the commands and buttons in '07 version are so different from '03
version, you may not operate '07 version as fluently as fluently '03
version. What if you are fresh to '07 version but you have to do your
presentation with PowerPoint 2007? Embarrassing!
3, The PowerPoint presentation you made on '03 version may not
compatible on '07 version.
Here I provide you a solution to terminate your puzzle permanently.
Convert PowerPoint to DVD, play PowerPoint on DVD machine and TV set.
We need this tool: Moyea PPT to DVD Burner( http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt_to_dvd/
).
Follow these three steps:
1, Install and run the program, import PowerPoint presentation to it,
any version of PowerPoint you'd used to make the PowerPoint
presentation will be ok.
2, Customize settings
3, Start to convert and burn PowerPoint to DVD.
Now you can do you presentation by playing the converted DVD video on
DVD player and TV set/projector. Is that interesting and brings us
great convenience?
Tips:
1, the effect of burned DVD video is the same as original PowerPoint.

I hoping someone has a bright idea for us.

We do marketing research and usually generate reports in PowerPoint. I
usually do my work in 2004 and everyone else works in 2003/PC. There usually
are no serious problems, but sometimes there are differences in chart
alignment. I am usually blamed for anything that goes wrong. Often I go so
far as to transfer the file to 2003 myself (have a notebook PC) and save in
Windows.

On a recent and very large quantitative project we worked with a client who
collaborated with us on the report. At first they loved the look of 2007
charts, but later decided that they needed everything in 2003 formats.

Somewhere along the line (very possibly because the Mac was involved) charts
inserted into PowerPoint from Excel became very ill-mannered. They look all
right until you click one. As soon as you do, fonts bunch up. Quite a few of
them immediately expand to a truly horrendous size easily 5 or 6 times the
size of the slide itself.

I know this is vague and all, but does this ring a bell with anyone? Is it
my fault somehow for using a Mac on the deck even though most work was done
in either 2003 or 2007?

Is there a way to stabilize charts once they begin to behave like this?

Do we have to recreate the entire (145 slides) report?

Help?

Thanks!

8. Cannot open PowerPoint 2003 file in PowerPoint XP

We have a lengthy PowerPoint file. It was created in PPT 2007, but saved as
a PPT 97-2003 file. The file works fine in PowerPoint 2003 and in 2007.

However, when the file is opened with Office XP, the file opens, then
flashes the "PowerPoint has experienced a problem, and has to close" error
dialog box.

We tried to use the 2003 Viewer, but that hangs after opening the file.

I was under the impression that PowerPoint XP could handle files in the
97-2003 format, but this has thrown me.

We have tried different versions of the file, and have done other
troubleshooting/elimination problem solving.

This has occurred on multiple computers, operated by different customers.
It also happens on my computers, each of which has 2gb of RAM or more. One
is running WinXP, while the other is running Vista.

It appears as though this file, built with PPT 2007 and saved as a PPT 2003
file, cannot be opened on a machine running PPT XP.

Any ideas? Time is of the essence. Many of our customers cannot upgrade
to newer versions of Office right now, because they have government
computers, and they have budgetary issues. We would like to offer them a
file that they all could use!

Thanks,
Steve
