Dear all
I have an urgent problem

I have a MOM server in my DMZ,and i installed in my machine in the internal
netwrok,a MOM admin tool to monitor the MOM from my PC.I ALLOWED only VPN
traffic from my internal to DMZ,so i use to connect to my DMZ AS VPN client.

All workes allright,i create a VPN connection to my DMZ and i connect to my
MOM server and all is cool

Until i installed the ISA 2004 Firewall Client..wneh i did,i cant access the
MOM server, even if i disable the firewall Client!!!!..the event viewer give
me:

"DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer JDCMGMT01 using any of the
configured protocols".

With EVENTOD =10009 and event source :DCOM!!!

please advice As soon as possible!!!

1. FWC +VPN, red FWC icon, non domain member

Dear MS,

My problem shows up on only non-domain member computers.

If they try to use ISA from internal network or if they
try to use ISA via VPN then FWC icon turns red.

I guess this is authentication problem but I have no idea
how can I fix it. I don't want to make a domain member
those computers.

1.-) FWC connects via IP and refresh operation can
successfully complete.
2.-) They can use Internet (it asks authentication for
web proxy and it works)

Any idea?

Best wishes.

3. ISA 2004 blocking even when no firewall option chosen

I have just upgraded to SBS 2003 SP1. ISA 2004 is denying access to Port
41002 (used for Brightmail) and other ports even when the option of no
firewall is chosen in CEICW Wizard. We have tried opening these ports but
still get denied. The direction always invoves local host.

I have 2 questions:

1. How do we open these ports?
2. If we remove ISA 2004 and use a hardware firewall, how do clients connect
to the Internet as without it we cannot get clients to connect to the
Internet.

We have 2 NICs.

This is causing many late nights so any help would be appreciated.

5. ISA automatically blocking some specific sites help neede (V.Urgent)

I am experiencing a similar problem with specific sites
which appear to be getting blocked by ISA. When trying to
access the site (e.g., www.aerotraderonline.com) the web
browser on the client computer indicates that download is
progressing, but nothing ever displays. When trying to
access another site (one which previously worked) after
this occurs, it is not accessible. On the server, I noted
that the web session for the client is closed after the
request for the "broken" site.

I have the server set up with firewall and web proxy. One
other thing is that I am able to access the site which
fails on the client from the ISA server machine browser.

I initially suspected that there is some aspect of the
offending web pages which triggers ISA to reject it, but
have been unable to identify what that might be.

Any ideas?

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable DCOM using a vbscript? I dont
want to disable the service, just uncheck the box that says Enable Dcom on
this computer.
