We are having problems trying to get our proxy clients to connect to secure
sites.
They are all Win XP using IE 6.x.
We just recently upgraded to ISA 2004 and they working under ISA 2000.
The clients get a red ! mark on the right hand side of the screen when it
happens.
They can connect to any other websites withoput problems.
Thanks,
Reijo

Hi,
Did you check the protocol rule to allow HTTPS traffic ?

I have a problem after connecting to the Internet - when I access a website, the website disappears suddenly from the screen. Also when I want to disconnect, the connection prompt comes up automatically and tries to reconnect...also I am unable to access secure websites.

5. No Prompt some Secure Sites
6. Publish multiple secure sites
I have ISA 2004 sitting in a Hardware DMZ. I have it configured to
proxy for OWA inside my protected NAT network.
Now I am looking at methods for publishing Sharepoint using SSL
bridging to a different server inside the protected NAT network.
I have two different SSL certs...one for webmail.mydomain.com, and one
for vendors.mydomain.com. I have SSL bridging set up for OWA using the
Webmail certificate. I can't (obviously...and I have also tried it and
failed as expected) to create another HTTP listener using the other
cert and relying on the incoming host header to redirect properly
through the ISA rules...but I can't set up a second listener with a
second cert on the same IP address. I can't figure out if it is
possible, and if so how, to set up a second virtual IP address and an
associated second lister which uses the vendors cert.
I am sorry if this is confusing, I am a bit confused myself....
for example, incoming request for webmail.mydomain.com resolves to
public IP xxx.xxx.xxx.10 which NATs to 192.168.1.10 (let's say the .10
is the root IP of the ISA server) which forwards the request to my
Exchange box at 10.0.0.10 on the inside. Incoming requests for
vendors.mydomain.com resolve to xxx.xxx.xxx.15 which NATs to
192.168.1.15 which forwards the request to my Sharepoint box at
10.0.0.15 on the inside.
Is this even possible with one ISA server using virtual IPs? Can I add
the 192.168.1.15 address to the same ISA box and configure a new
listener using the vendors.mydomain.com cert? If so how.
Wow....didn't mean to write a novel!!

8. ISA 2004 - Accessing Secure Sites - Anonymous Access
We recently upgraded from ISA 2000 to ISA 2004. Last week I was
monitoring real-time Internet usage in ISA 2004 for a few minutes and
saw that we had a lot of anonymous access to numerous SSL sites. The
rule allowing access requires authentication by the All Authenticated
User's Group. This rule requires authentication for all other sites
except SSL sites like www.lexis.com:443. The protocol in the log is
SSL-Tunnel Protocol, protocol port 443. I can not require
authentication at the Interal Network level b/c I have a few sites that
need access anonymously.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this was occurring in their
logs for SSL sites. Our Internet filtering software is counting each
anonymous connection as a user license.
Thank you for any suggestions!!
